10-Week Art Classes – Cancellation & Missed Lesson Policy
At Jamie Poole Arts, I want every student to enjoy their art journey, whether in-person or online. To keep things clear and fair for everyone, here’s how cancellations, missed lessons, and transfers are handled:Before the Course Starts

This policy is designed to be fair to both students and the business, helping me keep class sizes manageable and resources available for everyone.
At Jamie Poole Arts, I want every student to enjoy their art journey, whether in-person or online. To keep things clear and fair for everyone, here’s how cancellations, missed lessons, and transfers are handled:Before the Course Starts
- Cancellations more than 7 days before the course begins:
- Full refund minus a £5 admin fee, or transfer to a future course free of charge.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the course start:
- 50% refund, or transfer to a future course free of charge (subject to availability).
- No refunds are given once the course has started, except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion (serious illness, family emergency, etc.).
- Missed a class?
- No problem! All students get access to weekly online lesson videos so you can catch up anytime.
- You’re welcome to swap between in-person and online classes during the term—just let me know in advance so I can reserve your spot.
- If you attend in-person and can’t make your usual class, you may join a different physical class at another time during the same week (subject to availability).
- Transfers:
- If you need to switch from in-person to online (or vice versa), or swap to a different in-person class that week, you can do so at any point in the course, space permitting.
- If you permanently transfer to a different course with a lower fee, please note that no refund will be given for any difference in price, as places are reserved once booked.
- If I am unable to teach a scheduled class due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will arrange an alternative date for the missed lesson (usually at the end of the 10-week series).
- If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you are welcome to request a refund for that single lesson (equal to one-tenth of the total course fee).
