Studio Update: Rallies, Mini Prints, and New Beginnings

Hello everyone! 

​It has been a wonderfully busy time lately, and I wanted to take a quick moment to share what’s been happening in and out of the studio.
From the Exhibition FloorMy exhibition at Boughton House went beautifully. While it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to a major piece, I was absolutely thrilled to see my hare sculpture go to a fantastic new home with a couple celebrating their new house.

If you missed that one, I currently have some of my collage work on display at the Burghley Park Golf Club running until the end of August—do pop by and take a look if you are in the area!

Next Stop: Ashby Magna Steam Rally!I am currently flat-out preparing for the Ashby Magna Steam Rally and Fair next weekend. I’ll have my own stall set up with plenty of artwork, including some brand-new lino designs I’ve just finished printing. Come down, say hello, and enjoy the steam engines!

Fresh Concepts & Festive InspirationIn the studio, I'm currently developing a brand-new sculpture concept using wood, paper glue, and mini prints. It's only in the prototype stage right now, but it's opening up some really exciting creative doors.

A lot of my current inspiration is flowing from my time at the Deepings Literary Festival last month. Listening to authors talk about rivers, streams, and canal life connected perfectly with my love for British natural history. Speaking of which, look out for my new "Wood, Wave & Wing" collection—this is the start of a much larger collection of signed, hand-embellished 20cm x 20cm digital mini prints!

Class Updates: Looking to September. While I unfortunately had to cancel last month's lino class due to a few unforeseen issues, the main block of autumn art classes is locked in to start around the 23rd of September for Raunds, Kimbolton, and Online. I am also exploring a potential new class location in  near Kettering, so watch this space!
