Learn, Create, and Take Pride in Your Work
Master the basics:
I’ll teach you all the essential lino printing skills, so you can confidently carve, ink, and print your own designs.
Design with inspiration:
You’ll sketch your ideas using beautiful springtime wildlife as your creative springboard—think birds, blossoms, and all the signs of a fresh new season.
Create your prints:
Carve your lino blocks and explore two-block printing—a wonderful way to add colour, depth, and character to your artwork. Some may focus on striking single-colour designs, while others can try layering and colour mixing for extra impact.
Take home your creations:
You’ll leave with a set of stunning prints—perfect for gifting, sharing, or displaying with pride as a reminder of your creative start to 2026.
Enjoy a creative day out:
All materials are provided, including three printing presses, a range of quality inks and papers, plus a delicious lunch with plenty of goodies, tea, and coffee.
Please bring your own apron to protect your clothes and add a bit of your own personality to the creative day!

Jamie Poole, your guide for the day, pictured here surrounded by his lino prints and tools—just as you’ll be during the workshop. Jamie’s hands-on teaching style means you’ll get plenty of support, inspiration, and practical tips as you create your own beautiful prints. Whether you’re a beginner or have tried printmaking before, Jamie will help you discover the joys of lino printing in a friendly, relaxed setting.
