The Fitful Gusts and Shakes
This is a limited edition print of 50, sized 21cmx21cm . It shows a wild and excited boar diving through the undergrowth on a colourful Autumn day. It is made using my collage techniques from the words of a poem by John Clare.
Animals and wildlife inspire a great deal of my artwork and so I have dedicated a series of collage paintings to some of the animals I have seen when out walking in the Nene Valley where I live. Some of these have appeared in my garden or down in the lakes and meadows of the nature reserve nearby. Some I haven't seen in a long time like the red squirrel.
All though are wonders of nature and build a rich tapestry of life which none of us would be without. These cards are made so that we can all be reminded of the joy of the natural world.
