This cross is inspired by Love! 1 Corinthians 13:4 'Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited' It shows the joy of the garden and birds symbolising the power of enduring love.


Prayer Crosses are inspired by passages from the Bible. I have used the words to collage these designs and then created these printed wooden crosses. They make great gifts for weddings, confirmations, christenings, baptisms, and for relatives and friends. They can be used as a focus when praying together as well as displayed on the wall of your home, office or workplace.


These beautiful oak veneer crosses have a hook on the back which means they can be easily hung on the wall. The crosses measure 20cm tall, 12.5cm across and 1.2cm thick.

​My Christian faith often goes hand in hand with my passion for nature and the environment. God can be both felt and seen in the natural world; when observing the wind blowing through the trees in autumn or on a still summer evening by the waterside. I capture this in my work and also imbue my work with a sense of fun and often drama that can be observed on a walk or when alone in a beautiful place.

Prayer crosses bring together the inspiration of God's creation of Nature with that of the Christian faith. I look for the verses found in the Bible and incorporate them into my designs. Words of the Bible are printed onto paper in carefully chosen colour schemes and then collaged by hand before being printed onto wood.

My artwork frequently uses a range of mixed media techniques that have also incorporated words. In recent years this has become more important and now collage is a major part of my work which often uses words poetry as well as paint. The lines of various poems have been woven into my imagery - segments of which can be read.
