Prayer Crosses, are inspired by passages from the Bible. I have used words to collage these designs with Bible passages and then printed them onto wood.
They make great gifts for weddings, confirmations, christenings, baptisms, and for relatives and friends. They can be used as a focus when praying together as well as displayed on the wall of your home, office or workplace.
These beautiful oak veneer crosses have a hook on the back which means they easily be hung on the wall. The size of this cross is 20cm tall, 12.5cm wide, 1.2cm thick.

Jamie's Christian faith often goes hand in hand with his passion for nature and the environment. Prayer crosses bring together the inspiration of God's creation of Nature with that of the Christian faith. Jamie looks for the verses found in the Bible and incorporates them into his designs. Words of the Bible are printed onto paper in carefully chosen colour schemes and then collaged by hand before being printed onto wood.
Jamie's artwork frequently uses a range of mixed media techniques that have also incorporated words. In recent years this has become more important and now collage is a major part of his work which often uses words poetry as well as paint. The lines of various poems have been woven into his imagery - segments of which can be read.
The wide range of habitats such as the rugged coastline, mountains, wildflower meadows, wetlands, marshes, woodlands, hills, and dales of the United Kingdom are full of a diverse range of animals and birds. These offer endless inspiration for Jamie's artwork and his enthusiasm is seen in the colours, textures and atmosphere he applies to his paintings.
