Greetings Cards

All of my cards have been made using the inspiration of the English countryside and the poet John Clare. Within each artwork you can read short lines of his poetry. They are fun to send and are also available as signed prints!

The wide range of habitats such as the rugged coastline, mountains, wildflower meadows, wetlands, marshes, woodlands, hills, and dales of the United Kingdom  are full of a diverse range of animals and birds. These offer endless inspiration for my artwork and my enthusiasm is seen in the colours, textures and atmosphere I apply to these paintings.

My artwork frequently uses a range of mixed media techniques that  also incorporate words. In recent years this has become more important and now collage is a major part of my work in I which often use words poetry as well as paint. The lines of various poems have been woven into the imagery - parts of which can be read.


Sustainability

Whenever I can, I use recycled materials for all of my artworks. Each greeting card or print is packaged in a biodegradable cello or is left ‘naked’ with a card catch sticker to reduce waste further.

​Paper Stock

The paper stock used to produce my prints and cards are from 100% FSC® certified suppliers. This covers much more than trees themselves it ensures that nearby local communities are respected, the habitats of endangered plants and animal species are protected, and that all workers are properly paid.
My limited-edition prints are produced on Perlino Cotton paper which is a beautiful textured paper that is soft to the touch and has environmental qualities with 65% environmentally friendly ECF fibres, 20% post-consumer waste and 15% cotton fibres.
