Wildlife and landscapes, lakes and rivers can all be experienced by following the old pathways and visiting nature reserves and parks in the British Isles.

Below are just a few of the places which I have depicted using my collage techniques and occasionally mixed media acrylic paintings. The main locations I work from are in my home, the Nene Valley in Northamptonshire. Here the Nene river flows by the villages, towns, wetlands and lakes where otters, grass snakes, herons, red kites, deer and badgers can all be seen.

The words of the poet John Clare have been interwoven with the imagery which is both taken from visits and my imagination. Lines of poetry can be read within each picture and will take you on a journey of discovery through using colours, textures and inspired words.

Sustainability

Whenever I can, I use recycled materials for all of my artworks. Each greeting card or print is packaged in a biodegradable cello or is left ‘naked’ with a card catch sticker to reduce waste further.

Paper Stock

The paper stock used to produce my prints and cards are from 100% FSC® certified suppliers. This covers much more than trees themselves it ensures that nearby local communities are respected, the habitats of endangered plants and animal species are protected, and that all workers are properly paid.
My limited-edition prints are produced on Perlino Cotton paper which is a beautiful textured paper that is soft to the touch and has environmental qualities with 65% environmentally friendly ECF fibres, 20% post-consumer waste and 15% cotton fibres.
